In 2014, Ivan Stamatovski and Ido Gur came together to form Easy Aerial out of Brooklyn, New York. Ivan received his Master’s in Marketing from Baruch College, NY, and has a background in engineering as well. Ivan is considered an expert in marketing digital strategy enterprises, such as drone technology. Ido has a Master’s in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Israel’s Technion University and more than 12 years of experience working for the Israeli Air Force.

When he was only 10 years old, Ivan built his first remote controlled airplane. That passion and drive to create something was strengthened with Ido’s help, and Easy Aerial was born. At first, the duo developed drones intended for videography. It wasn’t long before Ido and Ivan recognized the potential for drones in the privately owned military and emergency sector. As stated on the company website, Easy Aerial’s mission is “to use autonomous UAV solutions, or drones, to protect and save lives… not only using drones to protect people, but assets and infrastructure too. Easy Aerial’s solutions are also capable of providing situational awareness to emergency first responders, monitoring crowds, and assisting with security management.”

With additional offices in Tel Aviv, Israel, and Belgrade, Serbia, Easy Aerial employs more than 60 drone experts who provide services throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. The custom built products Easy Aerial provides are 5 different drones, a series of charging/launching boxes, and secure software and operating systems. The drones are the Alpine Swift, Falcon, Osprey, Albatross, and Raptor. Each of these drones is built to fit user needs in fields of search and rescue, surveillance, inspection, and tactical awareness. They offer differentiating levels of flight time, with the option of tethered and free flight, as well as different payload capabilities. And as proudly stated on the website, “All Easy Aerial UAVs are field-proven, NDAA Sec. 848 compliant, and built with qualified traceable components. Only American-made parts are used in critical systems, such as communications modules and flight controllers. All drones are designed, built, and tested at Easy Aerial’s Brooklyn, NY. headquarters.”

Recently, Easy Aerial earned the coveted Military Standard (MIL-STD) 810G certification for their drone in a box system, Easy Guard ground station. The MIL-STD 810G certification process was established by the US Air Force after WWII as a rubric system for testing any and all equipment used for the military. Meeting the standards of the MIL-STD 810G requires equipment to withstand the harshest of environments, temperature, pressure, and even radiation. In October of 2020, Easy Aerial submitted the Easy Guard ground station to E-Labs Inc. to begin the rigorous testing required for MIL-STD 180G certification. Testing went on through January 2021, with Easy Guard passing all levels with zero abnormalities.

The Easy Guard system is a portable, lightweight drone solution system. It provides secure storage for a drone, an independent hanger for takeoff and landing, charging, and data transfer. Because it is light, yet rugged, the Easy Guard ground station can be transported to any location, from almost any vehicle. This makes it an ideal drone solution for military and emergency services. What started as a hobby for a 10 year old Ivan, is now one of the US’s leading emergency drone services.
