Hubsan drones is currently holding it’s third photography competition.  The company whose headquarters are in the Nanshan District ,Shenzhen ,China with a North American office in South El Monte, CA is excited to see the work presented by this years applicants.  The official name of the competition is The Zino Photography Competition which will run from May 20th to June 20th, 2019, with the winners being announced on June 27th.  The competition is named after the drone required to participate, their Zino drone.

Hubsan has a huge array of drones, far to many to go into specifics, but that is because they design drones to cater to every hobbyists needs.  They are an award winning toy/hobby drone company with drones ranging from nano to mid sized.  They have 5 drone categories each of which contain upwards of 10-12 drone models.  Their smallest category is their racing one with only 2 drones.  They also provide a large range of accessories like compatible remotes, batteries, and spare parts.

The Zino drone is one of their most popular drones, made to be the perfect photography drone.  It retails for around $369 and has everything needed to capture the most stunning images.  Some of it’s features include Ultra HD 4K Panoramic Aerial photography supported by a 3 Axel Gimbal and Image Tracking software.  It has a long lasting battery and precise GPS tracking along with safeguards for loss of control, low battery, and smart return.

The rules of the competition are quite simple.  Entries must be filmed using a Zino drone, and must be original works without any infringements.  Entries submitted previously will not be accepted.  Each video should be at least 2 minutes long, not exceeding 5 minutes.  The rest is up to the imagination of the operator, whether professional or amateur.  The videos can be uploaded via a link on Hubsan’s website to their YouTube channel.  A panel of judges will select the top 6 entries based on the overall theme, story, point of view, and accompanying soundtrack.

Out of the top 6 entries, 3 winners will be chosen.  Besides bragging rights there are some great prizes included.  The 3rd place winner will receive a standard Zino drone worth $369.  While 1st and 2nd place winners will be awarded Zino packages.  The 2nd place package is the standard Zino drone with an extra battery and an extra set of propellers (4 individual propellers), valued at $416.  The 1st place prize is the Portable Zino drone and it’s carry case, 3 extra batteries, and 2 sets of extra propellers (8 individual propellers) at a retail value of $554.  All other participants will receive a 22% discount off of any Hubsan merchandise purchased through their website.
